The fit of the jacket is slightly bigger, nothing major but my only patagonia piece so no idea if they are all larger than the normal athletic fit of jackets of these types. Might be because it's new and a little stiff but I struggle to make it sit properly when wearing a hard shell over the top. The hood is all but useless unless you are wearing it over a helmet, it is huge. You can sometimes find wind cutting right through but would be perfect if you were working very hard! The breathable material that goes all the way to the end of the sleeves, would rather they stopped mid arm. But it also features sly, internal-zippered pockets that keep the heat out while keeping your jacket. Yes, it offers all of the warmth you could want, thanks to hook-and-loop cuff closures and a drawcord hem, not to mention a warm, insulating stretch-woven fabric.
